About Blake

Blake attended school until there was no more school to attend. She has a PhD and occasionally uses it. She loves to dance and hates to vacuum, which are remarkably similar, when you think about it. She bakes a mean chocolate cake for every family member for their birthday, but her favorite is carrot cake. It's really all about the cream cheese icing. There is never enough.

When she's not dodging mosquitoes in the summer heat, she's drinking too much coffee and eating too many sweets, watching YouTube videos about squirrel obstacle courses and listening to great singers.

Her favorite writers include Eudora Welty, Neil Gaiman, Charlotte Brontë, JR Ward, Ernest Hemingway, Jane Austen, Johnathan Safran Foer, Alexis Hall, and Doris Kearns Goodwin.

She lives with her partner and two bed-hogging dogs in the American South.

Most importantly, she believes love is love and everyone deserves some.
